Oops...Shoes Reception for President Bush

President Bush visit to Iraq is a surprise one and a farewell visit before he steps down. One of the highlight of the visit is the press conference where a pair of SHOES were thrown at him. Bush termed it "a bizarre moment."

Here is a video of the event and I would say the President has quick reflexes. Boy o Boy what kind of strange and wevier respect this is in Iraq.

Wesley Snipes 3 Years Jail Sentence

Wesley Snipes , the famed star of movies like Blade3 and Passenger No57, received a 3 years jail sentence for failing to submit his income tax returns.

According to news reported in BBC and below an extract of the report.

Hollywood actor Wesley Snipes has received a three-year prison sentence for tax offences.

A federal judge handed down the maximum term requested by prosecutors - a year for each of Snipes's convictions of wilfully failing to file a tax return.

Snipes's lawyers had called for leniency, arguing that the offences were misdemeanours and that the star was of good character.

But prosecutors said an example should be set because of Snipes's fame.

In February, Snipes was found guilty of deliberately failing to file tax returns for 1999, 2000 and 2001, but was cleared of more serious fraud and conspiracy charges.
